NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the provisions of Section 14 (2) of the Road

Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the use of the route below is temporarily prohibited:

OVING/ALDINGBOURNE: PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 287, as shown on the map below.

The path closure is necessary to protect public safety due to a broken bridge, with effect from 22 April 2026.

This notice enacts a 21-day closure from the date given and a further closure will be required after this time.

Unfortunately, there is no alternative route available using the Rights of Way network.
