Who can apply?

• No specific qualifications needed – just fairness and impartiality.

Your role:

• Hear appeals from parents/carers and schools.

• Ensure fair and respectful treatment.

• Make independent decisions based on evidence.

Skills we value:

• Communication, listening, analytical thinking, teamwork.

• Confidentiality and professionalism.

Time commitment:

• Appeals happen throughout the year.

• Panels may meet in person or virtually (You will need to use your own device).

Training & Support:

• Full training provided, expenses reimbursed.

• Supported by experienced clerks and governance teams.
