The Local Government and Homelessness Minister announced on 19^th November consultations on two proposals from principal councils in West Sussex:

1. West Sussex County Council submitted a proposal for one unitary council.
2. Arun District Council, Adur District Council, Chichester District Council, Crawley Borough Council, Horsham District Council, Mid-Sussex District Council and Worthing Borough Council submitted a proposal for two unitary councils.

There is also consultation on two proposals from principal councils in East Sussex.
