(BOXGROVE, WESTHAMPNETT &  LAVANT GOODWOOF EVENT)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:

• prohibit vehicles from travelling along Westerton Lane at the junction with New Road and along New Road between Kennel Hill Road and New Barn Hill; and
• to require all southbound vehicles to travel at a speed not exceeding 30mph on Kennell Hill

This Order will be operative from 0800 hours on 19 May 2023 and is necessary to aid in the management of traffic accessing the event car parks and to deter event traffic from using Westerton village as a cut through.  The speed limit will be operative  from 0800 hours on 19 May 2023 until 1800 hours on  22 May 2023. The road closures will be in place between 1500 hours and 1930 hours on 19 May 2023 and 20 May 2023.
